ARTIST STATEMENT
Feeling the image before understanding it:
To use the language of photography as little as possible. Only its most basic formalities are sufficient. Nothing must lack poverty.

To provoke a voluntary pre-modern voluntary state of catharsis in the subject. The insides of the subject manifest themselves through the outside: skin-muscles-skeleton.

The mind should be involved as little as possible in the process.
Ad Usum Delphini: When the body is fragmented or hidden by geometry; it assumes the function of text as well as a fence around exposed anatomy, protecting the sensibilities of the viewer.
The geometric shape and the choice of color should be simple to accentuate the hidden. Everything framed by a strictly formal presentation.

Collectio ad Usum Delphini:
An introductory series in six parts, mostly expurgated, on the use of anatomy as a visual text. The isolation of body parts through concealment, emphasizes expression and amplifies possible interpretations: from the ineffable to the commonplace, as communicated by the combinations of anatomies, shapes, and colors.

Texts:
A series for the mature and less timid collector; who acknowledges the normality of the body and its possibilities for communication. The body is regarded as the first and most primitive text, which lends an almost archaic flavor to the series.
